MAKOplasty Knee Replacement

Orthopedic Surgeon Charles Craven M.D. shares that MAKOPlasty is a robotic surgical navigation system that is used for total joint replacement. He believes that it is transformational in that he has seen patients recover more quickly with less pain and with better overall results. Carolyn Fuller, Annual Fund Manager for the Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center Foundation, shares that mammograms are crucial for early detection of breast cancer. 18 years ago, a mammogram saved her life at a time that her children were four months old and three years old. The Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center Foundation raises funds to provide mammograms for patients who are uninsured or underinsured.
